RFA has integrated the Kawasaki robots<BR>in a Local Area Network (LAN)

Introduction

RFA has developed a system that makes it possible to control and monitor multiple robots via a standard LAN.

RFA's software engineers developed customer based Windows applications to make robot programming faster and easier for the customer. After the Palletising and Vision software a new set of programs has been developed for integration of Kawasaki robot in a LAN.

Programming the robot is macro-based so no “real” programming skills are required to program the robot from your LAN. The productdata is used to create the robotprograms directly, without any human action.

Integration Kawasaki Robot with Local Area Network (LAN)

The integration of robots on a regular Network (LAN) has some advantages, the LAN is more and more used for communication between office and factory or production line. The management can monitor the production without leaving the desk. Another feature that the LAN offers is the communication between different parts of the production line. These developments are relatively new however RFA is currently keeping up with the new developments and made a system to control Robots in a LAN.
